They had not even a second to spare in making their escape before the detonation was already in full swing, the sudden explosion searing their backsides with tremendous heat and showering the entire area with sparks of flame and ash that engulfed the entire street corner.

They darted off into the darkness, and Bronks couldn't wipe the wry smile off his face, even as the desperate, labored panting of his friend clipping at his heels behind him caught his ear. They both ran and ran until they reached the safety of their hidden lookout point. "Let's see them shun that one off," Bronks piped proudly.
