Yeah, so I don't take photos so good, sorry. :) I'll try to take some better ones and repost.

Anyway Bronks has been evolving again lately. Actually, he hasn't been so much evolving as he is simply going back to what I originally saw him as in the beginning. I've always wanted to bring Bronks a little closer to the human side. I never really desired Bronks to have a snout so much as I saw him with 'a big nose', like a shark. It was just easy and fun to draw him nore dragonesque, so I stuck with it.

I haven't really been inspired until now to really push the change, so I finally sat down and started making some new sketches. However, I quickly rediscovered how being a crappy artist wreaks havoc on concept drawing - I'm terrible at it, especially drawing from multiple angles and trying to visualise a unified form from something I have no physical reference of. Bronks's side profile always looks different from his front or his 3/4, so it's almost impossible for me to draw something anatomically correct.

I decided to cheat by making a real maquette, so this way I have a real life reference and I am forced by way of designing the model to study and undestand the anatomical structure of his face, and also to weed out any possible issues physically that some of my drawings on paper may present (sometimes what looks good on paper doesn't always transcribe perfectly to real life).

Case in point, Bronks looks cute on paper - but put him in real ife, and geez he's an ugly bastard! That's why I love him. :hump: I may even go for a whole body model, but I'll need some more time and a bit more plastilina!

Sculpted from No. 2 Roma Plastilina. I kept him bare faced for now, learning how to sculpt hair will be another challenge in itself.
